Rikinpolttouuni on suunniteltu tuottamaan sivutuotteena mahdollisimman v\u00e4h\u00e4n rikkitrioksidia (SO\u2083), joka voi potentiaalisesti pilata tuotteen natriumbisulfiitilla ja aiheuttaa korkeampia p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00f6j\u00e4.  <\/p>\n<p>Sen j\u00e4lkeen kaasu j\u00e4\u00e4hdytettiin nopeasti k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 j\u00e4lleen rikkitrioksidin muodostumista est\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 prosessia, mink\u00e4 j\u00e4lkeen sit\u00e4 j\u00e4\u00e4hdytettiin edelleen reaktioon kaustisen aineen kanssa tarvittavaan l\u00e4mp\u00f6tilaan korkean pitoisuuden natriumbisulfiittiliuoksen tuottamiseksi.  <\/p>\n<p>Toimitukseen kuului kaikkien laitteiden, instrumentoinnin ja valvonnan suunnittelu ja laatuvaatimukset.
